How do I add a class?

After you have logged in, at the
bottom of the page, click on "Add a class".
Also, classes
are only available to be selected if they are still to be offered
(date of class hasn't passed).
Some classes will have a date upon
which registration ends - if it is past this date, you will not be
able to sign up for a class.
Some classes will be limited to the
number of students.
Once a class reaches that limit, no more students can sign up unless
someone drops a class
- it will then become available again -
first come, first serve.
You can view class information by
clicking on "Service classes" or "Professional classes" at the top
(or left) of any page.
However, you will only be able to
select professional classes if you are a professional employee.
Likewise, you will only be able to select service classes if you are
a service employee.
Some classes are listed for both.
Once you have made your selection, click on the “Add class to
selection(s)” button, and you will now be signed up for this class.

How do I view what I have
signed up for?

Your details will display as soon
as you have properly logged in.
If you have gone elsewhere in the site, just click on "View
currently selected classes" at the bottom of the page.

How do I delete a class?

After you have logged in, at the
bottom of the page, click on "Delete a class". You will only be able
to delete classes where the date hasn't passed.
Once you have made your selection by clicking on Class #, your class
will have been deleted.
CAUTION IS TO BE TAKEN HERE
ALL IT TAKES IS CLICKING ON A CLASS NAME, AND IT IS GONE!
THERE IS NO SECOND CHANCE
If you decide you really wanted
that class, you will have to
add it again.

How do I view my Individual
Staff Development Plan?

Just click on "Individual Staff
Development Plan" at the bottom of the page.
This information is required by some school districts.
You also can print out a copy without the graphics, by clicking on
"Printer Friendly".

Why?

The name you enter MUST be
exactly what was entered by the director of staff development.
If you cannot login because you think your name was misspelled,
contact your principal.
Your name MUST be entered in the proper format.
That means FirstnameLastname - no space between names.
If your name is George Henry II, then GeorgeHenryII is what must be
entered in.
If you don't remember your
password, contact your principal.

What is my training
status?

Training status is basically just a
listing of the classes you have signed up for.
It displays how many of them you have attended, and how many of them
you have not.
The bottom of this page lists the
number of hours you have attended,
and the remaining number still necessary to meet requirements.
You also can print out a copy
without the graphics, by clicking on "Printer Friendly".

Custom Classes
Click on either "Service classes"
or "Professional classes", depending upon which you need to see.
Then click on Custom View (magnifying glass). Here you can choose
just the classes that YOU want to see. Choose classes just before a
particular date, or only in the morning, or the ones taught by your
favorite instructor, or only technology classes, or . . . . . .

in-lieu days I have?
Log in, and click on "Training
status" at the bottom of the page.

Do I need to evaluate
my classes, and how do I do so?
It is up to your staff development
administrator whether you need to evaluate your classes or not.
Some counties are requiring evaluations to be done before marking
attendance records.
If that is required, simply log in, and click on "Class evaluation"
at the bottom of the page.
You can only evaluate a class on the day it is offered, and for
the next 7 days.
